Hey Jules! I read somewhere years ago, that listening to music from your teenage years is a mood enhancer and good for depression. As many are happy and care free in those years!
I loved that new radicals song when it came out (in fact I still do)! And many hours spent listening to Nirvana in my room (although that was in the 2000'S.
Hi Sol, That ever-lasting dose of flu last month means I am way behind on everything, especially reading. I got half-way through North and South and really didn't enjoy it at all. I thoroughly enjoyed re-reading the Dickens, so much so that my husband rread it, too. He also enjoyed it. I have gone off piste somewhat and I'm reading Thomas Hardy's Jude the Obscure at the moment. Will try to do better now that I feel human again.
Hey Elaine, glad to hear you are back. About 4 years ago, I had flu at Christmas. It was horrendous. I lost nearly a stone in weight! Join in when you like and when you dont like the sound of a book. So far I am liking this one. Hope you are going from strength to strength.
The 80's are always going to be my favourite, but the 90's come pretty close. I drive Bill and Violet crazy by listening to Extreme all the time. Just love a bit of Nuno Bettencourt! ;O) x
