Hello. A quick move away from last months book. I will add more about that tomorrow. I am a little tired today. Right, next book. I am loving this, you all know that dont you?!?!?
Hi Linda, thank you so much for joining in! Excellent that you already have it. Its a short one, but with the run up to Christmas people will find it hard to fit it in with visiting family. I hope it is slightly easier to read.
Look forward to reading this one Sol. Going to watch North and South on Net Flix this week. Only got half way through the book. Far too round about the houses (small talk) and language of way back when.
I've got the Wordsworth Classics paperback under the generic title of 'Charles Dickens' Christmas Books', 'Carol' being the first of five contained therein - and just 380 pages in total. For each of the last six years been reading the complete volume around this time, leaving 'Carol' to be the read just before the day itself. Already read one of the tales (for the seventh time) and will read remainder (in 'adjusted' order) as they become due. Can say now that I do like 'Carol'.

Hey Dave, I agree the first 60 pages are blah. and I couldnt get the language and had to read some parts twice. Lets see what Dickens is like.
I am that bloke in green robes with starving children hidden beneath. Believe.
I must try and get hold of a copy. I've always wanted to read this. X

Tom, you are full of surprises, as it would seem are your clothes.
Hi Jules if you have a kindle I think it is free.
Hey Ray, I am looking forward to this one, I think it is about 100 pages isnt it.
'Carol' is a mere 72 pages long in my edition, short enough to be read in one sitting.
