A Rolling Stone...

picture from google
Whilst waiting for my friend in a coffee shop, I saw The Weekend, which is a part of the Mail on Sunday news paper.  In it was an article from the TV programme QI.  I really like that programme.

Here are my favourite facts from the article:

Napolean was born with teeth.  That gives me a little bit of the shivers.

A sneeze can travel up to 200ft.  More shuddering and yucky!

Rather apt for today, Donald Trump's father and grandmother both had the middle name Christ.

And the best one I thought was - On Earth, moss grows in an unruly fashion, but in space it forms spirals.  Isnt that cool?!?

well, you are full of interesting trivia today! The Napolean fact makes me shudder, having breast fed a child I feel for his mother!!
I love moss, and I think I'd love space moss just as much as Earth moss! ;o)

Hi Sadie, some of the facts were weird. I love the thought about swirly moss like a labyrinth

Love the trivia. Must be a great TV programme.

...Gathers No Moss. That wall must be north facing because moss always grows on the north side of walls and trees. Great picture.

Think and ponder Tom.

Linda it used to be quite funny when it was with Stephen Fry as the presenter, but a lady called sandi toksvig has taken over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MO_Q1TMWXe0

Hi Dave, the picture is from google.

I loved Stephen Fry when he did it. You can't beat interesting facts. I like the old laws...I remember something about a state in America that it was illegal to kill your mother in law on a Wednesday with a sword....or something along those lines ;)

We have lost interest since Steven Fry left the show. We like Sandi but the guests, so far, leave a lot to be desired.

Hi Croods, there are laws just like that here arent they. I dont know if it is urban legend, but isnt there one where it says something like you can beat your wife but only with a stick no longer than your thumb...

Hi Toffeeapple, I also prefer it with Stephen Fry.

I love weird little facts as well. Mmmmm Trumps grandparents have a lot to answer for. What a beautiful hedge!

Hi Chickpea, hope you are well. It isnt a hedge it is a wall!
