Your log stacking is like looking at an art exhibit. Very neat and tidy Sol.

Hey Dave, the wood is not neatly cut it is chopped with an axe and when we stack it, we kid of throw it and it naturally sits tight where it wants. We have 9 trees to chop and stack. They were REALLY big trees I just have to keep going. and now we are in lock down I will just have to keep sorting and adding and cleaning the area. it doesnt look like I will be able to go and get the chickens the coop was to arrive tomorrow. we will see what happens, good luck I dont think Ireland is much behind us shutting down. Be safe

You are keeping very busy!! I guess your wood supply is an essential part of your life up north. Hope you do manage to get your chickens. You'll need the eggs but also the chickens will keep you company now!

Goodness me! You'll be warm this (i.e. NEXT) Winter, I reckon.

Hey Linda, the wood is from trees in our garden that had to be felled. Its slow going! We have found someone really local for the chickens we think! Watch this space.

He he Ray, gonna burn my bum off warming it on this lot. It maybe more than one year to dry this stuff it is VERY heavy. if we have a good summer the water content should go, but at present we cant burn this lot. we have another 2 stores where we chopped and stacked it last year. The store is nearly full now. We will have to build another!
