Tom and Barbara

I have no idea if it works but this is the beast in the kitchen.  What do you think {Kev} and {Dave}.  We have been reliably told it is all there and it was used right up to the 90's.

It's a beauty Sol. It will work. Give every flue and oven a thorough spring clean. Perhaps its worth getting a solid fuel expert to service it and show you how to work it. Our range has a pump on it and heats seven radiators and we cook on it.

Hey Dave it is 160 years old. I am scared to fire it up

Wow ! Wow! Wow! I bet it gives more heat (when it's on) than our cooker.
Beautiful !

It really is a beast. Looks like it needs blood sweat and tears to cook on it though. You'd need to be a full time housewife to cook a meal.

Hey Tom, yes definitely we need to have it checked. It is very big and I have been offered a lesson on it by a local lady whose parents both used to work at the house. Watch this space!

Hi Linda, I dont know how hard it will be, but the house is big so it would be a beneficial it have the heat coming out. And we have been told it used to make excellent bread by my 97 year old neighbour!
