To dress the house up, I have had to be a bit inventive. I didnt think an orange pine bed frame was going to cut it.
As you can see from the picture above, I painted it paris grey by Annie Sloan in chalk paint.
Dont look too close is all I can say. It will look good in pictures for the internet. I think a lot of people fall in love with a house from the pictures from the internet and then after a viewing pour over the pictures again and again. Or is that just me?
Hope you are all well. I am going to take a little blogging break, I will be back next week.
I have finished Jane Eyre. I am bursting with it, I have even bought the DVD with Michael Fassbender in it. (got to have some eye candy!)
Happy weekend!!!

It's a beautiful shade. Paris Grey sounds and looks much more romantic than orange pine. X
i loooove the paris grey! beautiful! we have only ever sold one house in our lives...we sold it on our own and sold it to the very first couple who came through the door! we sold it for full-asking price and they wanted a bunch of our furniture??? but we did have the incredible fortune of buying a very beautiful and unique home. the couple put in an offer the very next day and wanted the house a month and a half later. which is why Framboise Manor became our new home faster than we had planned for. but it all worked out in the end. i can't wait til' you get your new place!
sending love! your friend,
kymber
Hi Jules, I am hoping it all looks ok! Its very hard to think of what to do with furniture We have been given some by our families as we dont have enough for this house. We had everyone going into their garages and lofts! I am grateful they have saved us a fortune!
Hi Kymber, I am going to make my blog private and put up the pictures of the house on the blog. Then everyone can sign in with their email and view the pictures. I dont want weirdos looking at the house. I feel a bit weird about it. I have thought to do this or to email pictures. I am not final on it all yet. Watch this space.
Hope you are all well. Sol xx
Love that color, must find something to paint.
Sol - let me know what we have to do to be able to access your blog if you go private with it. keep on keepin on gurl! xoxox
Have a good break Sol. Look forward to reading your blog next week.
Hey Janet, I found it a lot easier to use than Ronseal chalk paint. I just washed the bed frame quickly and slapped the paint on. The lady in the shop said apparently if you swirl it about you get a better finish. I didnt do that, but I was going for speed.
Kymber, if you are logged in with your usual email that you blog with then if you give me that email you will automatically be able to see! Magic!
Hey Dave, hope you are well. Just off to look at your blog now!
love the Paris grey! Great idea to cover up the orange pine. xx
