What a lovely photograph. I love the old regimental flags. Where is the cathedral, Sol? Merry Christmas.

Hey Dave it is inside Carlisle Cathedral. it is stunning inside, one of the vicars/curates told us about its history and how it had been moved to the side. it is remarkable. you look inside and you wonder why it seems off and the columns are out but it is it because it was moved. extremely pretty

You too Sol. I hope you can take some time out from house hunting and just relax.

Received with gracious thanks, Sol - and here's wishing you no less than what you're wishing to others.
And I truly hope that you have an ab fab 2015 too - preferably in the house of your dreams, or as close as can be.

Yes, up to last night it was (brrrrrrr!) C-O-L-D. Had to share the bed with two pussy-cats last night - or rather had to contort myself into a position between them as they were in no mood for shifting, especially since the electric blanket had been on for 3 hours awaiting my arrival. But we've got a little respite for a couple of days now before the wind and the rains arrive. I'm just longing for April!
