Name that drink?

Edit - Here are 2 clues

1, its from a film and book

2, you can buy it in the film, in a town that's name is derived from another name for a pig and an alcoholic drink made from honey....

Pretty sure I recognise this. It's a cup-a-soup (spicy lentil flavour) after being left in the fridge overnight. Am I right?

Well, the alcoholic drink is a giveaway. So the answer can only be - Bristol Temple MEADs! (Aw, shucks!)

The drink in my hand is actually non-alcoholic.
