Out and About

Been to the Lost Gardens of Heligan today.  It was very busy at 10.15, already into the over flow car park.  Lots to see.  I cant work out how to get the pictures off of the SD card so this picture from my phone will have to do.

Beautiful looking day!!!!!!!!

Don't take pics with my old cell phone. Use my little canon camera. Download my pics, into the iPhoto place, on my old iMac. Post them, on my blog.

The old fashioned way, I guess. ,-)))))))))

Enjoy your beautiful weather!!!!!!

It looks like you had a gorgeous day for it. The sun has come out here now so we are in for a lovely evening. X

You picked a lovely day to do this. Warmest of year so far for you too, I imagine. Enjoy while it lasts (couple more days?) before it gets back to more seasonally 'normal' temps. (Sigh!)

Lucky you Sol. Haven't been there for nearly twenty years. Much going on in the kitchen garden?

Hey Wisps of Words, I did take the pictures on my nikon, but this new laptop is completely different from my old one and the pictures are on an SD card and I cant work out what to do with it. I will have to ask my niece.

Hey Jules, the day was lovely. People seemed to be completely kitted out to walk around. Full on walking boots, jackets, hats special trousers. And there was me with my Toms on! I think they thought they were on a mountain in Scotland!

Hey Ray, I am not sure of the weather here, we had a weird day in February where it was 15 oC and today was around 18 in the afternoon I think, the lady down the road said it was 20, but I couldnt tell as it is always breezy here. I hope ut was lovely and warm for you there.

Hi Dave, not huge amounts in the kitchen garden, broad beans, peas, garlic, onions, and PINEAPPLES! there were pineapples growing in the cold frames. never seen that before.

Aren't they amazing? I went there to meet Tim Smitt years ago, and he is a nice bloke too. I was supposed to be touting to restore the Grotto, but it needed no restoration.

Hi Tom, i saw the grotto today. The tree ferns looked great around it, the water was quite deep, but we had heavy rain 2 nights ago. ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Fingers crossed for more good weather today. Our garden is finally starting to wake up.

Hi Elaine, the grass needs cutting again it is a pain as we need to do it by hand as we keep finding plant pots in the grass and the grass having grown over it! Dangerous!
