swimming pool

Swimming Pool, Angkor Wat, Cambodia

What do you do when you live in a palace and the weather and the heat are too much and you are melting like an ice cube with a laser pointed at it?

Have your minions build a pool...

.....and get them to fish out the leaves?

I'd be scared to swim in that. Looks like it might have crocodiles or snakes in it!

Hi Ray and Harry

it was huge, I am not sure if this is the one that the Guide said the ladies swam there.

I would be more worried about the monkeys. They seemed to look like they wanted to rob people.

A very special place. I would have loved it if they offered dinner and to watch some traditional dancing. I think that would have been worth it no matter what the money. Just in one small corner somewhere. I think that would have topped off my trip.

I hope you are having a really good day!

Im off to finish off our tea of Bean Bourguignon, it looks a little thin.

Heres the recipe

Susie! LOL More likely Algae that the super rich rub all over and spend thousands of £££££'s on.

The water does flow it is the same stuff as in the moat and has fresh water that goes through. apparently they open and close the loch gate

I'm not sure I'd want to dive in there but wow, it's a pretty amazing pool. Not your usual blue-tiled affair! x
