Tom, Bath is really close to my heart. ...OMG Ray!

Tom, Bath is really close to my heart. I have many memories of it as a child. In a way it is a real shame for people who visit that they changed the podium into a waitrose. even though the cleanliness of that Chinese restaurant with the atrum, was a little dubious. It was a great place to sit and look at the river.Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10518631542782309728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5275239266133000382.post-20250977270224568882013-12-13T11:35:31.659+00:002013-12-13T11:35:31.659+00:00The weir is noisiest when the river is low. A constant dull roar lulls me to sleep where I live overlooking it.

When it is in full flood, ton upon ton of water almost obliterates the steps to the weir as it goes noiselessly over.Tom Stephensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05979590950587415840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5275239266133000382.post-90986140582971857732013-12-12T23:02:50.507+00:002013-12-12T23:02:50.507+00:00Hi there Rusty Duck. The water is a little green. but that is better than when it has been raining really hard for weeks and the water is like brown mud with uprooted trees in it. Sometime you can see the steps the water is so high from the rainSolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10518631542782309728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5275239266133000382.post-48499529154463775852013-12-12T22:53:56.461+00:002013-12-12T22:53:56.461+00:00Eeek. I don't know if that is true as I have no reference to hold it up against.

The man was American and on holiday in England. He said that is how Native American Indians would do it...?
